I got the strangest feeling the machines were not right and remember wishing I could get a paper print out to show exactly who I had voted for and the thought still came to me that it could be set to show the opposite of what it records. (Throwing in here that I have no idea how they actually work in the first place) Call it intuition or whatever because at that time I don’t think there had been any discussion at all about the machines being tampered with. Now, with midterms quickly approaching, that same uneasy feeling consumes me every time my mind goes to Election Day. Of course we will vote but I can’t help but wonder if we will ever be able to do so with trust and confidence again. There has to be a better way.
New here with questions
Is there a place I can go that shows what abbreviations and numbers mean...such as nt, +1, +1000? I figured out K&R means kick and recommend or actually I saw where someone wrote it out.
Also, I saw where someone mentioned donating to this site but can’t find where to do that.

Hi Everybody!
Guess I’m new here although it doesn’t feel that way because I’ve lurked for so long. You guys have been my place to come for more than a year now and you say many of the very things I’m thinking. It’s more than a little embarrassing to say I’m from and live in West Virginia. Please don’t hold it against me. It’s why I didn’t join here sooner. I loved my beautiful state until the last election. Now I’m ashamed of so many people, even some family members, though not immediate, and the hate that they spew. It makes me want to change my license plate when traveling to other states so no one will see it and think I may be one of them. Even thought about getting a Lock Him Up or similar bumper sticker to show I’m not a Trump supporter but fear my vehicle being vandalized, which I’m sure it would be in this state. Anyway, I’m thankful to be able to tell you there are some of us West Virginians who truly abhor Trump and all he stands for.
