I just dipped my toe in at my least-favorite RWNJ site.
Here's a comment posted there.

"I tuned in briefly to hear the debate. But there was no debate. Instead, there was a two-against-one pile on, Wallace and Biden vs. Trump. Biden was obviously hopped up on something and kept interrupting Trump during Trump's allotted time to speak, with no censure from Wallace, who did plenty of his own interrupting of Trump. Trump was never given, as far as I could see, any opportunity to make his reasoned, logical reply to questions--he was constantly either being walked on, interrupted, or taken to task by Wallace. I know that it's all bluster for his idiot fans, but for a President - even a shithead like trump - to suggest this kind of thing is unheard of. And dangerous. He's planting poisoned seeds in the minds of the gullible.

What IS the actual, real, honest to god, unemployment rate right now?

The BLS says 8.4% last month. That's U-3. U-6 is 14.2 (I understand what U-3 and U-6 is.)

Then I read this piece from Forbes with a lot of numbers that tell me that 8.4% is low. And maybe 14.2 is low, too. I hate it when people say the BLS is lying. That's tinfoil hat stuff. But ... WTF?

Did the economy and employment turn UP? How? Where is unemployment now, and where is it headed?
