JHB, I like hearing your voice. I’m journaling to return to this over the next few days. And I find it extra thought-provoking next to BuffaloJackalope’s comment of republicans as victims of putin’s propaganda.
(Am looking for a way to give everyday conservatives who are cooling to tRump an out for having supported him. This as Thanksgiving approaches, fraught with questions of whether this uncle or cousin will speak to me or even make eye contact. It’s not those two that I care to sway in any way, but is an indicator of how bad things have become in my extended purple family.)
She opens the show with a rundown of headlines across numerous papers. Was good to hear her recount Fiona Hill and David Holmes' testimonies from today.
A difficult, defining moment in my life occurred the day she testified, and the ground felt like shifting sand under my feet as I plugged more money into the campaign against susan collins in lieu of watching it live. I felt like I could protest from afar.
I don't know who this group is, but thank you, am with y'all.
(Don't about worry that day in my life - things worked out as best as they could. I couldn't tell at the time, though. It just goes to show that you can play by the rules most all of your life, then have the greedy and power hungry try to upend your world by breaking the rules at the worst possible time.)
