Lawrence raising point: Hillary is to Benghazi as Barr is to Epstein (right-wing hypocrisy)

If Hillary is "somehow responsible" for what happened in Libya, then why wouldn't Barr be responsible for what happened to a prisoner under the control of his DOJ via the Federal prison system????

The problem is not socialism. It's rigged capitalism.

ATTENTION DEM POLS: Good messaging --- good sound bite: The problem is not socialism. It's rigged capitalism.

The problem is not socialists. They have no place in US politics and won't. The problem is not capitalism. It worked well to make American the economic powerhouse of the world. The problem is rigged capitalism--which for 40 yrs the GOP has engineered with the help of some Dems.

...

The benefits of growth accrue primarily to the top 1 percent and hardly at all to the bottom 90 percent. Trump was elected because of people's outrage with the system that made this happen and disenfranchised them (HRC was seen as part of the establishment that made it happen.)

But he has proven to be the most corrupt president ever--self-dealing & working to empower the richest and to plunder the country's assets on their behalf. He has taken advantage of campaign finance laws (and rulings like Citizens United) that have further empowered the powerful.

...

Edited to add:

Effective unions are not socialism, they are vintage U.S. capitalism.

Listenting to the short Q&As with candidates today makes me realize

just how horrible the CNN debate actually was.

Talking extemporaneously, from the heart, in a natural voice tone -- our candidates sound so good. SO MUCH BETTER than they sounded on the stage last night.

These debates, I'm not sure any news organization can conduct a good one. CNN certainly found a way to bring out the worst in everyone!

I'm kinda thinking the candidates should consider skipping the next debates. Posting a youtube in-depth video instead.

Dems need to aggressively counter trump's "greatest economy ever" propaganda:

this IS a key issue for voters

they are being fed a pile of bullshit by trump and his machine

hell --- even the MSNBC anchor yesterday was saying, flat out, without question "what a great economy"

1. EVEN IF IT WAS TRUE --- politics ain't bean bag. This is a weapon we need to take away from him. If we tie our hands behind our backs by following the rules when he doesn't, then we lose. And we are morally justified in saying what we need to say to win, as he is stealing credit for the work and skill of the Obama administration. Remember 2008. Remember when Obama came in where we were.

2. It may be true for the wealthy and corporations. But by and large, working people and those who don't own stocks are not feeling this "miracle economy."

If you can't afford your medications, the economy isn't great.
If you see homelessness, the economy isn't great.
If replacing an appliance or getting your car fixed kills your budget, the economy isn't great.
If you don't have any savings, the economy isn't great.

Please Dems please. This is low-hanging fruit we can get, and it will infuriate trump.
