Drumpf himself, with all the GOP enablers have created a version of "America" which has been dramatically changed in less than 4 years. Our institutions have been eroded, our right to vote is under attack, public education has been under attack, immigration policy is inhumane, Affordable Care Act (health care for 20 plus million) is under attack, we have dissed all our allies, we support brutal dictatorial regimes, we opted out of nuclear arms treaties, climate accords, human rights agreements, civil rights are threatened, peaceful protest is threatened, systematic racism has been exposed and the armed fascists are surrounding 45 to protect the Fuehrer.

My daughter cried today realizing that what the Statue of Liberty and America is supposed to represent and be, is gone (and it may well be). While Putin and others relish in this, and appreciate Drumpf's unwavering support, the majority of Americans are sick, literally and figuratively. I never used to hate people, but damn them to hell for what they have done.

Those of us that have been plugged in saw it coming 4 years ago and I always thought our institutions would hold. Barr and DOJ, Pruitt and Wheeler EPA, DeVoss, Educ., etc., etc. It has been systematic and relentless in it's destruction, and with 200 and counting lifetime appointments at federal benches, we may be destined to decades of fascism and serfdom for all but the wealthy. That will take about 4 more years, and they are licking their chops, because they know how close they are to total control.

Sorry for the rant, but I am beyond disgusted. It is OUR country, OUR flag, OUR heritage and OUR belief that America stands for more than greed and control by the "elite." The shared sacrifice of our parents and grandparents is being deficated on by those who think of the Constitution as a "goddamn piece of paper." And that was George W. Bush speaking almost 20 years ago. The "Neo Cons" and Project for a New American Century charted this course. How far they have come in their mission to unravel America, revise history and pit us against each other. They must be absolutely giddy and their desperation to hold onto that power will become more and more apparent and lawless over the next six months. Tell me I'm wrong. Please.

All that remains is the crumbled Statue of Liberty, and we need to stop a very dangerous madman. The pro-Trump minions are willing to follow him to the death. Quite illiogical but real.

He is done with the virus (which is not done with us; it does what it does). He is done with any semblance of governing, alliances, participation at any level on the world stage or leadership. Please impeach and remove this miscreant from office. This cannot stand until November.

can't be easily replaced. He was obnoxious and dismissive, but was unafraid to speak the truth to power. I miss that.
