No special comment.

Just wanted to contribute to the variations on the name....

I watched the entire two-part replay of the Queen's funeral on C-SPAN.

It was a fascinating display of British culture. She was probably the most widely know person in the world, owing to the fact that it's said over 5 billion people watched it.

There was something that caught my eye that I'm surprised hasn't received coverage:

On both occasions they sang the National Anthem, the shots of Harry that I saw showed that he was not singing; no "God save the King" for him....Maybe it was too emotional; maybe he has a really bad singing voice and does not care to bother those around him, or maybe he's just not into it anymore....(related: I haven't heard he renounced his British citizenship and became an American, which might also explain it, but I honestly don't follow his controversy)....

Graham's national abortion ban is an attempt to control the issue in blue states

where state legislatures will not implement an abortion ban.

Then once it takes hold nationwide, they'll start restricting the time period of 15 weeks more and more, and there will be nothing states can do about it (despite the Rs proclaiming it's a state's rights issue).

Roevember, girlfriends....!

Former long-time R Congressman Jim Leach of IA endorses Dem Candidates in IA for 2022 Midterms

Franken for Senater over Grassley
Bohannen over Miller-Meeks for House

A quote from Nancy Pelosi:

"There are those who believe that life begins at the candlelight dinner the night before."

No one like her!!!!

I'm so sick of people coddling this criminal!!!

I do recall early on in the Trump administration, when Flynn was

being investigated, Malcolm Nance saying there was a counter-intelligence investigation going on....That means espionage!

In the days when America was "great."

On June 19, 1953, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who were convicted of conspiring to pass U.S. atomic secrets to the Soviets, are executed at Sing Sing Prison in Ossining, New York.

We must hold the House and Senate.

Especially after Kevin McCarthy's threat to Merrick Garland.

Ol' COVID Kim, the so-called Governor of Iowa, was really subdued on the news tonight

when she talked about the anti-abortion measures the Rs plan to enact in Iowa.

Usually, she's almost giddy about it all, but she spoke in a very quiet way tonight. I think she doesn't want anyone to notice how they plan to take away women's reproductive rights, especially after Kansas. I think Kim is sweating the midterms at this point, because 60% of Iowans want unrestricted abortion care available.

See you in November, Kim. We're coming for you!
