Sybil the Psychic tells Jesse Pinhead at Fox Noiz that Trump is toast.

"Uh-oh": Fox News hosted a psychic to predict Trump's 2024 fate — and it didn't go well

“I do recognize I’m on Fox," psychic Paula Roberts acknowledged as she predicted a "sense of loss"

Fox News host Jesse Watters rounded out his first show of the year with a look toward the political futures of President Joe Biden and Donald Trump, forgoing featuring a political authority in favor of a psychic and self-described "ghost hunter" who foresaw "a sense of loss" for the former president, The Daily Beast reports. On Tuesday's "Jesse Watters Primetime," the host spoke with Paula Roberts, "The English Psychic," who, per her website, is also a clairvoyant and handwriting analyst. Watters prefaced the conversation with claims that another fortune teller he'd asked about Trump's 2024 fate told him “there would be a grave injustice this fall.”

“We may not even have an election,” Watters recalled, voicing some of Trump supporters’ anxieties. “Therefore, we need a second opinion.” After Watters asked for Roberts' reading on the former president, who is slated to face four criminal trials in the coming months, the psychic drew one card from her tarot deck. Both she and the right-wing host let out an "Uh-oh" as she unveiled a figure cloaked in black looking down at three overturned cups with two standing upright behind it. “I do recognize I’m on Fox TV,” Roberts began. “A sense of loss. A sense of loss, but it’s very specific… It’s as if he may be thinking more about what he’s lost, and not still taking full advantage of what he still has.”

“That’s a great interpretation, Paula,” Watters responded. He then asked about Biden's 2024, which Roberts predicted would see “lots and lots and lots and lots of money" after drawing another card. "You mean from China?” Watters asked, later joking that he'd connect her with House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., whose impeachment inquiry into the Biden family has failed to yield any evidence and gain traction.

"The only way to deal with bullies: Stand up to them." -- Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Michigan)

'The only way you can deal with bullies': Dem congresswoman explains how to stand up to Trump

by Carl Wilson
Alternet, December 30, 2023

Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Michigan), who was elected to Congress after the retirement of her husband, former Rep. John Dingell (D-Michigan), has firsthand experience with what she refers to as "bullying" from former President Donald Trump.

In an essay for the New York Times, Dingell recalled being attacked by then-President Trump, who remarked that her late husband was "looking up" at her in the wake of her vote for his first impeachment, implying that her deceased spouse "was in hell."

"That’s the Trump way — the cruelty is the point, yet that awareness doesn’t make it any less painful. We’re human. He knows that, and he thrives on it," Dingell wrote. "I am not seeking a fight with Mr. Trump. It’s not easy to tangle with him, especially after that experience involving John. But I do know that hateful rhetoric cannot be ignored or become normalized. We have to stand up to bullies in this country, and we have to call out indignities."

"In my view, the only way you can deal with bullies is to consistently call out their inexcusable behavior and stand in defense of those they choose to target," she continued.

SNIP…

"What I would encourage people to do, if attacked by Mr. Trump or his supporters, is to not be afraid to challenge the attack. Try to de-escalate the situation by presenting an alternative point of view calmly. Don’t let them bait you to descend to their level," she added. "[T]hat animosity is exacerbating the problem: We are watching very premeditated and carefully chosen words and actions by Mr. Trump that are stoking anger, further fueling a lack of trust in many institutions and creating a climate that is threatening democracy. Beware, the dangers are real."

Laughing at the attack on Paul Pelosi should disqualify dip.

From one of America's remaining editorial cartoonists of quality:

Trump joked about Pelosi assassination attempt.

California’s GOP laughed right along

By Jack Ohman
San Francisco Chronicle, October 5, 2023

Former President Donald Trump spoke to the California GOP convention last Friday in Anaheim, and he exceeded even his usual rhetorical cruelty.

“We’ll stand up to crazy Nancy Pelosi, who ruined San Francisco.”

Then this:

“How’s her husband doing, by the way, anybody know?”

In a universe of demented Trump observations, this perhaps exceeded even the lowest of his lows.

Paul Pelsosi, an 82-year-old man, was attacked in his own home in October by a hammer-wielding assailant. Police arrested David DePape, 42, who repeatedly asked, “Where’s Nancy?”

"What Flynn did is sedition. And to be absolutely clear – it’s a treason that our men and women in uniform would never ever countenance.

"I’m calling for Michael Flynn to be recalled to active duty and court martialed for his treason. Do you agree with me? Add your name today to say you support court martialing Michael Flynn for his treason.

"Flynn violated the oath we all took when we enlisted – to support and defend the Constitution. That oath doesn’t retire when you do."

Republican Holiday Tree decorated with hanged Democratic figures

GOP candidate faces backlash after sharing Christmas ornaments of Democrats in nooses

by Tatyana Tandanpolie
Salon, December 26, 2023

A Republican congressional candidate posted an image of a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments of Democrats in nooses and later expressed regret after being hit with backlash.

Former West Virginia state lawmaker Derrick Evans shared and quickly deleted the image, which showed miniature versions of politicians like President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Barack Obama and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., hanging from nooses, according to The Messenger. A Donald Trump ornament beside the display appears to be raising his hand in approval of the hangings.

Evans, who resigned in January 2021 from the West Virginia House of Delegates after being federally charged over his participation in the Jan. 6, Capitol riot, is running for Congress in 2024.

He is a vocal supporter of Trump and the former president's baseless claims about the 2020 presidential contest being fraudulent and stolen. The former West Virginia legislator pleaded guilty to one felony count of civil disorder in March 2022 and later served a 3-month sentence in federal prison for his role in the riot, during which he livestreamed his felonious activities on Facebook, according to NBC News.

Donald Trump's grandfather ran Canadian brothel during gold rush, author says

Friedrich Trump amassed 'substantial nest-egg' from Yukon hotel before heading to New York

Alexander Panetta · The Canadian Press · Posted: Sep 19, 2015

Canadians amused by the improbable presidential run of Donald Trump might be surprised to learn the role their own country played in shaping his story.

Trump's grandfather started the family fortune in an adventure that involved the Klondike gold rush, the Mounties, prostitution and twists of fate that pushed him to New York City.

Friedrich Trump had been in North America a few years when he set out for the Yukon, says an author who's just completed a new edition of her multi-generational family biography.

That Canadian chapter proved pivotal for the entrepreneurial German immigrant, says Gwenda Blair, author of The Trumps: Three Generations That Built An Empire.

"It allowed him to get together the nest egg he'd come to the United States for," the author and Columbia University journalism professor said in an interview.

"Whether he could've accumulated that much money somewhere else, in that short a period of time, as a young man with no connections, and initially not even English, is certainly ... unlikely."
