Kid Berwyn
Kid Berwyn's JournalTrump is worse than a crook. He's a traitor.
The evidence is there. Trump works for Putin.
The fact the GOP doesnt want to investigate the matter is a problem.
Not for us, though. Its their problem. For it shows the GOP, too, are traitors.
The Democrats need pro communication consultants.
Schiff is good. There are flashes by the others. They need a master storyteller, though...one who could immediately grab the nations attention and hold it for the whole sordid story.
And it is a hell of a story. The problem is it is a complicated Trump is a traitor. He betrayed the Constitution, the office and the United States of America. His actions advance the interests of our nations chief adversary.
Trump hurt an ally by denying them military aid in exchange for help in destroying the reputation of his political rival. His lies serve to repeat propaganda weaponized speech developed by Russian military experts. A whistleblowers report about it all was denied to Congress.
Trump has lied to Congress and the American people. He has ignored his duty and ordered his subordinates to withhold accurate and timely information to Congress. He uses his office for personal enrichment.
Trump covers up his criminality with the help of sitting US Representatives and Senators. Imagine if AOC told it.
Exactly.
WSJ:
On a muggy morning in July 2008, hundreds of customers stood outside IndyMac Bank branches in Southern California, trying to pull their savings from the lender, which was doomed by losses on risky mortgages.
Steven Mnuchin didnt know much about IndyMac as he watched the scenes on CNBC from his Midtown Manhattan office. But he immediately saw an opportunity and began figuring out how to buy the bank.
Regulators seized IndyMac, foreshadowing a vicious banking crisis. Six months later, Mr. Mnuchin and his investment partners acquired IndyMac with a helping hand from the U.S. government. The deal eventually earned him hundreds of millions of dollars in personal profits.

Regarding the Hamdan case, Roberts also saw no impropriety in his simultaneous interviewing with senior administration officials for a life-time job on the Supreme Court and his judging of a case in which Bush was a defendant.
On April 1, Roberts was interviewed by Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who had formulated many of the arguments for the apex of presidential power, including Bushs right to override anti-torture laws.
Other interviews with Roberts were conducted by Vice President Dick Cheney; White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card; White House legal counsel Harriet Miers; Bushs chief political strategist Karl Rove; and Cheneys chief of staff Lewis Libby.

We need an "America Rescue Mission."
Save us from what the rest of the planet has moved past.
Why can't Schiff ask Roberts to call witnesses?
One would think the trial judge would have the authority to determine what does and does not happen in his or her courtroom.

In 1973, he finished a masters degree in Government and Chinese Studies and returned to the C.I.A. as an intelligence analyst. At the time, a Senate investigationknown as the Church Committeewas uncovering decades of abuses at the C.I.A., and laws were being passed to curtail them.
