THE CIAS WORST-KEPT SECRET: NEWLY DECLASSIFIED FILES CONFIRM UNITED STATES COLLABORATION WITH NAZISPried loose by Congress, which passed the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act three years ago, a long-hidden trove of once-classified CIA documents confirms one of the worst-kept secrets of the cold war--the CIA's use of an extensive Nazi spy network to wage a clandestine campaign against the Soviet Union.

Honest and idealist enjoys good food and wine unprejudiced mind
Thats how a 1952 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) assessment described Nazi ideologue Emil Augsburg, an officer at the infamous Wannsee Institute, the SS think tank involved in planning the Final Solution. Augsburgs SS unit performed special duties, a euphemism for exterminating Jews and other undesirables during the Second World War.
Although he was wanted in Poland for war crimes, Augsburg managed to ingratiate himself with the U.S. CIA, which employed him in the late 1940s as an expert on Soviet affairs. Recently released CIA records indicate that Augsburg was among a rogues gallery of Nazi war criminals recruited by U.S. intelligence agencies shortly after Germany surrendered to the Allies.
Pried loose by Congress, which passed the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act three years ago, a long-hidden trove of once-classified CIA documents confirms one of the worst-kept secrets of the cold warthe CIAs use of an extensive Nazi spy network to wage a clandestine campaign against the Soviet Union.
The CIA reports show that U.S. officials knew they were subsidizing numerous Third Reich veterans who had committed horrible crimes against humanity, but these atrocities were overlooked as the anti-Communist crusade acquired its own momentum. For Nazis who would otherwise have been charged with war crimes, signing on with American intelligence enabled them to avoid a prison term.

The reason I bring them up is to remind us of what Donald J Trump, former (hurts to type) President of the United States said about his own political philosophy:
(I want) my people to treat him the same way North Koreans treat that nations murderous head of state. Hes the head of a country, and I mean, hes the strong head, dont let anyone think anything different, Trump told Fox News. He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.

Recently, Trump became irate when he heard that Gen. Mark Milley had expressed loyalty to the Constitution and not to him personally.
Trump Floats the Idea of Executing Joint Chiefs Chairman Milley
The former president is inciting violence against the nations top general. Americas response is distracted and numb.
By Brian Klaas
The Atlanti, September 25, 20223
Late Friday night, the former president of the United Statesand a leading candidate to be the next presidentinsinuated that Americas top general deserves to be put to death.
That extraordinary sentence would be unthinkable in any other rich democracy. But Donald Trump, on his social-media network, Truth Social, wrote that Mark Milleys phone call to reassure China in the aftermath of the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, was an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH. (The phone call was, in fact, explicitly authorized by Trump-administration officials.) Trumps threats against Milley came after The Atlantics publication of a profile of Milley, by this magazines editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg, who detailed the ways in which Milley attempted to protect the Constitution from Trump.
And yet, none of the nations front pages blared Trump Suggests That Top General Deserves Execution or Former President Accuses General of Treason. Instead, the post barely made the news. Most Americans who dont follow Trump on social media probably dont even know it happened.

Richard Stengel, former TIME editor and Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs during the Obama Administration, was on Nicole Wallace's "Deadline: White House" on MSNBC Thursday, Oct. 5, and said:
"Violence is to Fascism what the Free Press is to Democracy."
Democracy should take a moment and thank Al Gore for the Internet and, by extension, DU! Then let's get back to kicking fascism in the ass! If we don't, Trump, the fascists and their toadies will get away with treason.
Gen. Smedley Butler was chosen to ride the white horse in 1933.
Bastards didnt like FDR
THE BUSINESS PLOT TO OVERTHROW ROOSEVELT
In the summer of 1933, shortly after Roosevelt's "First 100 Days," America's richest businessmen were in a panic. It was clear that Roosevelt intended to conduct a massive redistribution of wealth from the rich to the poor. Roosevelt had to be stopped at all costs.
The answer was a military coup. It was to be secretly financed and organized by leading officers of the Morgan and Du Pont empires. This included some of America's richest and most famous names of the time:
Irenee Du Pont - Right-wing chemical industrialist and founder of the American Liberty League, the organization assigned to execute the plot.
Grayson Murphy - Director of Goodyear, Bethlehem Steel and a group of J.P. Morgan banks.
William Doyle - Former state commander of the American Legion and a central plotter of the coup.
John Davis - Former Democratic presidential candidate and a senior attorney for J.P. Morgan.
Al Smith - Roosevelt's bitter political foe from New York. Smith was a former governor of New York and a codirector of the American Liberty League.
John J. Raskob - A high-ranking Du Pont officer and a former chairman of the Democratic Party. In later decades, Raskob would become a "Knight of Malta," a Roman Catholic Religious Order with a high percentage of CIA spies, including CIA Directors William Casey, William Colby and John McCone.
Robert Clark - One of Wall Street's richest bankers and stockbrokers.
Gerald MacGuire - Bond salesman for Clark, and a former commander of the Connecticut American Legion. MacGuire was the key recruiter to General Butler.
The plotters attempted to recruit General Smedley Butler to lead the coup. They selected him because he was a war hero who was popular with the troops. The plotters felt his good reputation was important to make the troops feel confident that they were doing the right thing by overthrowing a democratically elected president. However, this was a mistake: Butler was popular with the troops because he identified with them. That is, he was a man of the people, not the elite. When the plotters approached General Butler with their proposal to lead the coup, he pretended to go along with the plan at first, secretly deciding to betray it to Congress at the right moment.
What the businessmen proposed was dramatic: they wanted General Butler to deliver an ultimatum to Roosevelt. Roosevelt would pretend to become sick and incapacitated from his polio, and allow a newly created cabinet officer, a "Secretary of General Affairs," to run things in his stead. The secretary, of course, would be carrying out the orders of Wall Street. If Roosevelt refused, then General Butler would force him out with an army of 500,000 war veterans from the American Legion. But MacGuire assured Butler the cover story would work:
"You know the American people will swallow that. We have got the newspapers. We will start a campaign that the President's health is failing. Everyone can tell that by looking at him, and the dumb American people will fall for it in a second "
The businessmen also promised that money was no object: Clark told Butler that he would spend half his $60 million fortune to save the other half.

Jeffrey Epstein said in an unaired interview that he distanced himself from former President Donald Trump after realizing Trump was "a crook," according to his brother, Mark Epstein.
Mark Epstein told Insider he viewed a clip of the interview, conducted by Trump's former White House advisor Steve Bannon, after his brother forwarded it to him in the spring of 2019.
At the time, Bannon was conducting filmed interviews with the now-dead pedophile financier. Bannon sent Jeffrey Epstein a Dropbox link to a clip, which he forwarded to his brother. The link is no longer active, according to Mark.
"Jeffrey showed me the link to one of these interviews," Mark Epstein said. "And in that interview, Jeffrey said he stopped hanging out with Trump when he realized Trump was a crook."

Trump Refused to Wear Masks Because They Smudged His Makeup, Ex-Aide Says
Adam Chitwood
The Wrap, September 22, 2023
Donald Trump was rarely photographed wearing a mask during his presidency as the COVID-19 pandemic brought the country to a standstill, but a former White House aide says his reason had less to do with the virus and more to do with vanity.
In her memoir Enough, Cassidy Hutchinson, the close aide to Trumps chief of staff Mark Meadows, recalls an incident in which Trump noticed his makeup had been smudged from wearing a N-95 mask.
I slowly shook my head, she writes of her reaction to Trump choosing a white mask, per an account from The Guardian ahead of the books release next week. The president pulled the mask off and asked why I thought he should not wear it.
I pointed at the straps of the N95 I was holding. When he looked at the straps of his mask, he saw they were covered in bronzer, she says in the book.
Why did no one else tell me that, he snapped. Im not wearing this thing.
