This is a brushback. I hope people are listening. Compromise is essential in politics.

I trust Clyburn and the preachers over all the latter-day self-righteous shitstirrers who need a history lesson from their elders.

Shame on her. That's disgusting.

The more I learn about Harris, the less I like her.

I am a woman of color and I find your characterization distasteful.

Pointing fingers at me or anyone else on this thread and reducing our criticism to nothing more than a racist + sexist attack is plain wrong.

I agree. It was a preplanned kneecapping.

Shame on her.

Voters approving of Democrats over Republicans in almost every category of question

I do not agree with impeachment for the reasons I told you.

I am glad that Nancy Pelosi is not guided by polls for her decisions regarding the efficacy of impeachment. If you recall, there were calls to impeach Dubya as well that she resisted.

Polls are fickle and are snapshots in time. Last year, the polls showed only a minority of voters wanted impeachment. Next year, candidates will be busy. The last thing I want is all the media time being used up to cover useless impeachment proceedings and Chump's self-righteous denials. I want the focus to be on the Democratic candidate though Reply #18 sets up a scenario which I can agree is a good approach which will drive public opinion to our side.

Winning in 2020 is everything to me. That's pretty much common sense. I detest Chump but if you and others want to make these kind of decisions based on emotion, have at it but do not expect me to join you. When he is out of office, I expect lots of civil and criminal litigation to begin. He will spend the rest of his life fighting legal battles that all but the worst lawyers will take on though even they know he never pays his lawyers (see Michael Cohen).
