If they are neither rich nor poor,

if they own their homes, have enough to eat are secure in their jobs and in their lives, they probably don't vote or vote for the status quo.

I am 76 years old and this is what I believe about humans.

The majority of people are not good or bad but are just living their lives. When they have a strong leader 40-60% of them will do what that leader says or infers they do. Trump is a strong leader of his followers and if he is reelected things will get worse for non-Whites and poor people. If he loses the election there will be blood in the streets. He will not go quietly. If he is impeached and a new Senate with enough Democrats find him guilty there will be blood in the streets. If he is assassinated there will be blood in the streets. This is the most optimistic view I have. I will still vote only for Democrats as long as I am alive or as long as we have elections.

A corporation has a fiduciary duty to its shareholders.

The range of how much it costs to bring a drug to market is wide from $800 million to $3 billion. And if the FDA does not approve the drug that is how much the drug company loses. If you buy stock in a drug company at the beginning and keep it until the FDA says no you can lose a lot of your investment. If the government wants to set prices is it going to take into account how much it cost to bring each individual drug to market and how long it will have the sole rights to that drug? Will it tell the corporation how much money it is allowed to make on that drug? When these questions are answered I will know what I think should happen.

I'm just saying the we used to have innocent until proven guilty.

Actually in a nonlegal way we have never had innocent until proven guilty.

I haven't seen any tweets yet

but I expect one to say, See, I am innocent of any wrongdoing. Even the Democrats know I am innocent. That is what people will remember. Once they believe that, it will be hard to change their minds.

So according to the law

Spacey is innocent of any wrongdoing yet loses out of House of Cards. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

And COs can never be bought?

His is going to live in that cell until he dies but I doubt he will give up his corporation.

My father received his draft notice during WWII

They sent him home after his physical because he smoked and his lungs were bad but I don't know what was actually wrong with them. He said that if the army wouldn't take him he better quit. He died in 1975. My second wife age 73 was a smoker and had COPD. Her doctor told her that if she quit she could have 5 good years. She said she would rather smoke and was dead in 6 months. I started smoking a few cigarettes a day at age 11 and used to a pack a day of unfiltered Camels at 16. I quit when I was 32. I am now 76 and started boxing lessons 6 months ago.

Look on the bright side.

If Trump gets elected in 2020 and the Democrats lose the House buy 2024 the Earth will be in such a sorry state that humans could face extinction by 2100 and then the Earth can put itself back together with new species and it will take millions of years before she is bothered by another sentient being.

Why won't we able to pick our own doctor or at least stop seeing a bad one?

I am in the VA system and I have had doctors I didn't like. I just switched doctors. I have also changed clinics and hospitals when I moved and my new doctors with my permission have had full access to all of my records through the VA healthcare system, not just doctors notes or prescriptions but also all my x-rays, labs and MRIs. When I moved if I didn't need to see a doctor I could order my prescriptions through the same system and they were mailed to me. I know some veterans have had problems usually because they were in an area where the VA needs to do more. I was in the private sector for 28 years and now the VA for 24 years and the VA system is far superior plus for me, it is totally free and they even pay me travel.
