Trump's border "wall."

This is a good example of how Trump and Republicans control the MSM narrative.
I just read the article about how the ACLU is going after Trump's diversion of money that is being used for his border wall.

Why the fuck is everyone calling it a wall? It is a fence. I would think that at least Democrats can call what Trump's hateful barrier really is, a fence. It doesn't sound so appealing when billions of taxpayer dollars are being spent for a fence.

Just something that has been annoying me and I had to get off my chest.

Too bad it's too late for Adam Schiff to run,

he would certainly unite the Democratic party.

So I was called a Republican

because I started a ridiculous thread suggesting that if Trump lost the election he would not step down.

Every day I see how Trump acts just like a dictator and no one can stop him. I f no one stops what he is doing now what makes anyone believe that he can be stopped in November?

Rudy Giuliani and Bill Barr are still digging up dirt on Biden in Ukraine. Russia hacked Burisma and a Senate committee has received from the Treasury department, financial information from Hunter Biden.

"For months, while the impeachment controversy raged, powerful committee chairmen in the Republican-controlled Senate have been quietly but openly pursuing an inquiry into Hunter Biden’s business affairs and Ukrainian officials’ alleged interventions in the 2016 election, the same matters that President Trump and his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani unsuccessfully tried to coerce Ukraine’s government to investigate. "

"Unlike Trump and Giuliani, however, Sens. Charles Grassley, chairman of the Finance Committee; Ron Johnson, chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee; and Lindsey Graham, chairman of the Judiciary Committee, have focused their efforts in Washington, seeking to extract politically useful information from agencies of the U.S. government. They’ve issued letters requesting records from Cabinet departments and agencies, including the State Department, the Treasury, the Justice Department, the FBI, the National Archives and the Secret Service. "

"Grassley and Johnson have sought to obtain some of the most sensitive and closely held documents in all of federal law enforcement — highly confidential suspicious activity reports (SARs) filed by financial institutions with FinCEN, an agency of the Treasury that helps to police money laundering. "

"The senators’ requests to the Treasury have borne fruit, according to the ranking Democratic senator on the Finance Committee, Ron Wyden of Oregon, who contrasted the cooperation given to the Republican senators with the pervasive White House-directed stonewall that House Democrats encountered when they subpoenaed documents and witnesses in the impeachment inquiry. "

“Applying a blatant double standard, Trump administration agencies like the Treasury Department are rapidly complying with Senate Republican requests — no subpoenas necessary — and producing ‘evidence’ of questionable origin,” Wyden spokesperson Ashley Schapitl said in a statement. “The administration told House Democrats to go pound sand when their oversight authority was mandatory while voluntarily cooperating with the Senate Republicans’ sideshow at lightning speed.”...........................................

In other words, Grassley and Johnson and Republicans are doing what Rudy and Trump and Pompeo, et all. failed to do.

Trump won't step down if he loses

Who is going to make him?
He controls the judiciary, Barr controls the FBI.
He certainly controls the NSA and maybe even the CIA.
He controls the Senate so if Dems win back the Senate will he nullify those elections?
The decent military generals and leaders have resigned.

Who is going to stop him from declaring the election was rigged? He could even declare martial law and I have no doubt it would be enforced.

He has talked several times about going beyond his term limits. He is telling us what he plans to do.

I fear our campaign strategy

I understand that health care and infrastructure and education and the rest should be our main topics, but...

if we ignore taking on Trump I fear we will lose. My #1 reason itching to vote is to remove a traitor from office.

I use Joe Biden as an example. He came out of the gates like gang busters when he announced he was running. He immediately attacked Trump in his video and he immediately rose in the polls. Since then Joe has relatively gone silent, and I understand he was behind the 8 ball with the Ukraine mess, but he should have taken that issue on immediately.

I may be wrong in my assessment and please let me know that I am wrong. I believe that taking on Trump should be #1 on our candidates agenda. I feel it's what voters are waiting for.
