But why is Amy Klobuchar standing with Trump at the swear-in and in the oval office?? Again, forgive me if it's already been addressed. 
Going from unparalleled joy to complete and utter fear
I was sad to see Joe bow out. He has been my favorite president just behind President Carter, even more so than President Obama and I absolutely LOVED President Obama.
But when Kamala got the nod and after she gave that first speech I was ecstatic! Her personality, her smile, her LAUGH just sent such a wave of joy and hope over me that is so incredibly hard to explain.
I felt we now have the candidate we as a nation can get behind and eradicate and cleanse our country of the vileness and evil that is MAGA. Seeing the fundraising and endorsements flood in made me even more convinced we will prevail in November by such a margin that MAGA will crawl under a slimy, muddy, stinky rock never to be heard from again.
But over the weekend I have seen, heard and read so much hate and violent rhetoric that I am very VERY scared for not only this great nation but for myself, my family and my friends. Her candidacy has ignited something I have never seen in my lifetime (born in late 69).
The outright lies. The openly racist and misogynistic vitriol that is being spewed has turned my joy and hope into nightmarish fear. I couldn't even sleep last night pretty much crying the whole time.
Saturday night really set me off. My band was playing a gig in a small town when we kicked off a set with the Beatles Revolution. I didn't expect the reaction but a number of people in the crowd started to yell "Fk you you liberal pieces of s#@t!" and started to leave. Then about halfway through we did CCR's Fortune Son and I heard one guy say he was going to go get his gun and shoot up the band.
Now, the crowd policed the situation and 90% or more were enjoying the show, but it was those few, obviously triggered MAGAs that sent a chill down my spine. If they reacted THAT way to a couple of SONGS played by a no-name bar band, what the heck are they going to do when they are confronted with their false reality being destroyed in November??
All the reports about election deniers in positions of power in swing states, the late night memes from some family members and people I no longer consider friends (I am trying to distance myself from anyone who has been showing their true colors lately) and public posts on social media by the cult and unhinged people has taken its toll on my mental wellbeing.
I am truly convinced that we are in for a rough ride as a nation and I really dont know how we are going to get through this without living through some very VERY dark days and nights. I'm going to do my part and try to keep my fears from destroying me, but I am really finding it hard to do so right now.

If you get a text from a Magnifi Financial Alerts....DO NOT reply to it...its a phishing scam trying to get your card info.
They ask if you have made a purchase and reply yes or no. I DID reply NO and immediately got another text saying my card has been locked...I called my bank and asked what was up and they said it was NOT them and that as long as I did not give out my account number or any other information all is good.

As I was typing this out they tried to call me....
Of course I hit the decline button, but looks like a scene from "The Beekeeper".
The phone number they are using is 805-393-1755 just a heads up.

My brother surprised me
He and my SIL are huge tRump backers...they are even attending his rally tonight in MN. The atmosphere is so toxic I have to limit my time in their presence just to remain sane.
Tonight he told me something that I did not expect.
He said that he could not wait till this election was over so the country could start to heal. He realizes the division in this nation and that we are going down a dark path.
While I don't understand his logic, how he thinks that even if tRump wins, that he will be out of the picture in 2028. He asked me if he could be elected a 3rd time even if the terms were served non sequential.
I just did not feel like going there to tell him that if he did win there would not be a 2028 election.
Even though the events of this last week should have lifted my spirits beyond words, I'm just so run down and exhausted from everything prior. It's a depression I am really trying to fight through but finding it daunting.
Without trying to go into his logic how he can support such a monster and him being one half of a mixed marriage, which makes it even more perplexing, I do have some hope because he at least sees beyond what I thought he was capable of seeing.
Maybe attending that rally and seeing the insanity in person without the filter of Fox and Newsmax will open his eyes further? Maybe Shady and tRump will go so completely off the rails that something might click in his head?
I know a lot of this is babble, but I need to find some light here.
I just heard this about Elon Musk
This might be old, but it's new to me.
I heard an interview tonight where Musk considers his daughter (son) dead to him because she (he) is trans. According to him, wokeness killed him.
Its also why he donates $45 mil a month to tRump to fight the "Woke Brain Disease"
The guy is disgusting and a total fraud in my opinion. Most of his accomplishments that so many tout as genius were other people's, he just has the money to make them possible and benefit his wallet and ego.
Things Joe needs to do before he leaves office
Some of these he wont do, because he is an honorable man, but here's my list of "To Dos"
He needs to do them after the election as not to give the cult any extra ammo.
1) Hard or maybe impossible without help from Congress, but expand the SCOTUS. Maybe via executive order?
2) Make cannabis federally legal. Again, maybe via executive order.
3) Sounds like the case might get thrown out, but grant Hunter a pardon just for the fact it would cause the cultists heads to explode. This is one I doubt he would do, but oh my would it be fun.
4) Implement some form of sane, comprehensive gun control via EO again.
I'm sure some cant be done without legislation, but one can dream. What's on your list?

When you drive over 500 miles for your work, your mind starts to wander.
With the growing realization that they made a horrible VP pick with Vance, I wouldn't put it past tRump or his inner cultists to stage some lapse in security and allow boot licker boy to befall some sort of tragedy closer to November.
Looking to spark sympathy votes or something more despicable such as a call to arms to the MAGAt faithful?

A little background...Ive been in the hospital now for a couple of days with Covid and blood clots in my lungs...fun times...anyhow, my new nurse this morning came into my room and first thing she says is "So did Trump win the election?"...I responded, "ummm...no.." Then she says " Have you heard of the new world order? You know that Biden is the leader of a pedophile sex traficing ring and the truth will soon come out and Trump will once again be our president"....Im like GREAT!! I have a Qanon nutjob in charge of my well being!! I diddnt even respond, I wanted her out of my room as fast as humanly possible. WTF??
