So how is everyone feeling? I am slightly anxious/depressed

I know I need to step away from social media, but I am obsessed by this slow moving disaster.

Death perspective for US Coronavirus

Current mortality rate over many weeks across many populations stands at 3.74%

If ONLY 15% of Americans contracted it (roughly 50 million) that would equate to 1.87 million fatalities

If there was some way to turn hatred and contempt for Trump into vaccine

We’d all shut this COVID19 thing down in its tracks.

Why are all of our sources of Coronavirus tracking going down!

I used to refresh Johns Hopkins page—now useless. My wife and I downloaded COVID19 tracker app. Now down. This is horrible what we are witnessing.

I don't think Trump understands he lost the election last night

So begins the long slow anticlimax and denouement before Biden admin.

DJIA at this point in Bush, Obama, Trump presidencies

At this point in their presidencies (3 years and about 2 months) here’s how DJIA grew or declined:

Bush -4.9%

Obama +65.1%

Trump +6.7%

The graph of the other two showed nothing but up and to the right for Obama whereas Bush had another major financial meltdown in his future.

Trump declines look nowhere near over.

DJIA isn’t meaningful when looking at how day today folks are doing, but Trump has harped and harped on this so there you go.

We are about 1600 points from DJIA returning to level at beginning of Trump term

Which means there is a real possibility we will be at net negative stock market valuations for the Trump presidency by next week.
