During the press conference Rudy Giuliani held at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping in Northeast Philadelphia last week to discuss upcoming lawsuits challenging the 2020 election results, the first person he called up as a witness was a convicted sex offender, POLITICO reports.
“It’s such a shame. This is a democracy,” alleged poll watcher Daryl Brooks said. “They did not allow us to see anything. Was it corrupt or not? But give us an opportunity as poll watchers to view all the documents — all of the ballots.”
According to reports, Brooks was incarcerated in the 1990s on charges of sexual assault, lewdness and endangering the welfare of a minor for exposing himself to two girls ages 7 and 11. Brooks has run for various offices that include the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives. During the press conference, Brooks said he’s from Philadelphia, but POLITICO could not confirm that to be the case.

In a CNN piece on the “Stop the Steal” movement made up of Donald Trump supporters who believe the election is being stolen, fans of the president were either baffled or dismissive when presented with evidence that they were regurgitating baseless conspiracy theories.
In the clip, filmed at a “Stop the Steal” protest in Pennsylvania, CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan pressed supporters of the president on why they believe the election is being stolen that led one woman to tell him, “Go, I don’t even want to talk to you!” when he disagreed with her.

Did anybody else notice that the pearl-clutching counterfeit Republican outrage over the Obama-spied-on-my-campaign “biggest crime in American history” so-called “Obamagate scandal” went away after November third, just like a miracle?
Did anybody else notice, on the other hand, that coronavirus is still with us, that it’s still killing a thousand Americans a day? Did anybody else notice that children are still locked away in cages? Did anybody else notice that global warming is still a thing and America shamefully remains the only nation on earth not signatory to the Paris Climate Accord? Did anybody else notice that black lives still matter?
Welcome to the difference between the make-believe, sideshow, distracting, fake outrages of the Republican Party and the real life concerns of We the People. As I write this, 74 million Americans — the most in presidential election history — have said No! to lies, No! to fake scandals and No! to Donald Trump. With approximately 8 million more votes left to count, that number will probably climb as high as 80 million. Donald Trump has just received the largest repudiation in American history — and climbing. We the People don’t want him. We the People have spoken.

President-elect Joe Biden is already in the process of working with his transition team to overhaul executive orders placed during his predecessor’s time in office, according to The Washington Post. Among the immediately planned adjustments: setting up a coronavirus task force in recognition of the coronavirus global pandemic. The task force, which will be formed Monday, could begin meeting within days and will be co-chaired by former surgeon general Vivek H. Murthy and David Kessler, a former Food and Drug Administration commissioner.
Sen. Christopher A. Coons (D-DE), a longtime Biden ally who holds the seat Biden had for 36 years, offered a broad overview of Biden’s initial agenda: “Get us out of this pandemic that’s been made far worse by Trump’s bungled mishandling of it, rebuild our economy in a way that’s more sustainable and more inclusive, and deal with division and inequality.”
Biden has also vowed to institute new ethics guidelines at the White House beginning on his first day in office, effectively committing that no member of his administration will influence any Justice Department investigations.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) warned on Sunday that there will never be another Republican president if the current 2020 elections results are allowed to stand.
Graham made the remarks on Fox News after multiple news networks called the election for President-elect Joe Biden.
“Number one, this is a contested election and the media doesn’t decide who becomes president,” Graham complained. “If they did, you would never have a Republican president forever. So, we’re discounting them.”

As if losing the presidential election wasn’t a big enough blow, Donald Trump was hit with more bad news Saturday: Actor Sacha Baron Cohen withdrew his spoof job offer.
Cohen — who thoroughly embarrassed Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani in his latest film, “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” — told the president in a tweet that his recent job offer was rescinded because of Trump’s “tragic and sad” job performance “this past week."
There was no immediate response from the president.
