It has been time for a while now, but after this last speech of TFG calling for violence in the streets if he is indited, but only if they have done something illegal, to be charged with insurrection and thrown into jail. Of course, in his peanut brain, any indictment of TFG has to be illegal. It is time for the spineless Repugs that have stood by and left this shit show go on to grow a fucking spine and stand up to this idiot. They created the us against them atmosphere starting way back with Ronald Reagan. Newt the Grinch, codified it with his one hundred words to use against your democratic opponent. Hey Newt, I am not a progressive, I am not a communist, I am still a bleeding heart liberal Democrat and damn proud of it. That leaders within the republican party, yea talking about you Moscow Mitch, have stood back and let this happen. He, and every other elected republican with a spine, needs to step up and renounce this man. Preaching to the choir here at DU, but it is time to let every, and I mean every, elected republican official down to county officials, know that in supporting TFG they are supporting an end to democracy. They are just putting a big smile on Vladimir Putin's face. End of rant.
1340 Proven voter fraud cases!
According to data compiled by the Hertitage Foundation there have been 1340 proven cases of voter fraud,with 1152 conviction. Since 1982!!!! Thats an average of 67 convictions, or 1 1/3 per state, per each two year election cycle. Unfortunately, as a resident of West Virginia, I have to support and vote for Joe Machin. He IS A DEMOCRAT. We now have a governor, elected as a democrat, that changed parties soon after the election. I do not want to see Joe Manchin become a Republican. I have been a DU lurker since year one. I finally decide to sign up a couple of years ago. After my first post, I got thrown out. After multiple attemps to find out why I got kicked out I finally read the rules. I got thrown out because I had bashed a democrat on my first post! Yep, Joe Manchin. I am not writing this to show my support for Joe Machin. I have to agree with almost all of the negative posts about Joe. But, as long as he is running for Senate as a democrat, I will vote for him.

Because of all the abusive and derogatory names that this un-re-elected person used, I have refused to get into his name calling. However, I thoroughly enjoy some of the names that fellow DU's come up with. I would start with some that my son has used but my fingers would fall off and burn in wherever. Dear Republican governors,
It is not that I am boycotting your state. I am not a believer in boycotts. That's like telling someone else what to do. Although it is freedom of speech. I just would not feel safe in any environment that does not require wearing of masks. Yea, Yea about your personal freedom, but I have my personal freedom to stay healthy. I am a sixty-seven year old male heart attack survivor and I will not be threatening my heath and safety by visiting any establishment that does not require masks. Whether in your state your state or not.
As more and more people get vaccinations , I finally feel like I can venture out of my house again. People are not going to go anywhere unless they feel safe. You can blow smoke out your ass all you want, but most sensible people (had to add that caveat), are not going to be going out to eat just yet. Maybe as more and more people get vaccinated...............Forgot, you don't believe in that.
We have had a standing Wednesday hump day beer drinking get together. Every Wednesday 4:00 P,M at a local brewpub, up until last March. We are starting back up again Each and every one of us has had both shots. Yes. we are inside, and yes we still social distance. Because we care about each other. And we like the beer.
By your mandates of no masks, no shot cards, no social distancing, it is quite obvious that you don't give fuck about anybody but YOUR next election. People are starting to get fed up with your political bullshit. Not talking about democrats here. but all those republicans out there that are not totally batshit crazy.

Prepare for Texas Spring Break
I am sure that asshole Abbott is aware that Texas Spring Break is in the next week. It is time to release the Kraken on the ski slopes of Colorado. Second week of March, to the best of my knowledge is Texas Spring Break. Every school in Texas. We were unfortunate to be in Crested Butte for Texas spring break week one year. Every restaurant was packed to the gills with Texans. Not that I have a dislike of Texans, more of a dislike of crowds. This year should be defined as a super spreader event.
