Hilton partners with Zomato and Swiggy
20 Apr 2020 by Nisha Shroff
Contactless delivery
Global hospitality chain Hilton has partnered with food aggregators Zomato and Swiggy in India to home deliver its signature dishes to customers.
As per a recent statement by Hilton, the brands select delivery menu features its top 20 signature dishes from the most popular F&B outlets. At present, Conrad Bengaluru, Conrad Pune, Hilton Garden Inn Gurgaon, Hilton Chennai, DoubleTree Ahmedabad and Hilton Mumbai are six Hilton properties that will be operational through Zomato and Swiggy.
The brand also has plans to expand this service is some more Indian cities soon.
Hilton said in a statement, The hotel also has stringent quality check procedures in place for the delivery staff, including temperature checks, sanitisation of vehicles and cleanliness checks, in addition to the use of masks and gloves. For packaging, Hilton will be using biodegradable plastic, paper, and cardboard.

My appreciation in what Hilton (& other hotel industries) are doing to survive the devastating blow to their business.
I personally hope they all find creative way of hanging on till the world has recovered.
The industry employs a LOT of people who in turn, support families & communities on down the line.
There must be a point of balance for all the wheels to turn in the same direction, rather than the complete wiping out of industries that support many down the line.
Good business move for Hilton, may others follow & may you all reach the outer edge of this horrific scene to provide services & employ all that thrives from the travel industry again.
May we do all we can & rebuild it better after the fall.

"But as each of you has shown in your time here, and as the American people always show in challenging times, when hardship comes, Americans come together," Pence continued.
He cited medical workers on the front lines, farmers and grocers keeping America fed, and autoworkers who are making medical equipment to save lives.
"With the courage, strength and compassion of the American people, we'll get through this," Pence said. "We'll protect the most vulnerable and we will heal our land."

Trump to Americans:
"LIBERATE"!!
Thousands of demonstrators descended on the state Capitol in Lansing, Michigan, on Wednesday to protest Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's restrictive stay-at-home order, clogging the streets with their cars while scores ignored organizers' pleas to stay inside their vehicles.
The protest dubbed "Operation Gridlock" was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition and the Michigan Freedom Fund, a DeVos family-linked conservative group. Protesters were encouraged to show up and cause traffic jams, honk and bring signs to display from their cars.
