About Me

My husband and I are both 100% service-connected disabled.

Journal Archives

I am just getting over pneumonia.

It was scary knowing if I got the Covid-19, I would die. No, Neither my husband nor I left the house after getting home, and no one was allowed in, from non-VA urgent care. Because of my blood-thinner and other meds, I now have to have an INR test every week. Luckily the VA Clinic has protocols in place and it is quite safe.

After reading the links, read the comments.

Half of them are saying that all the beds in the hospital can be turned into ICU beds just by calling them that. That they don't need any upgrades and they don't mention where the hospitals are going to get the ventilators. This is why we are losing and will continue to lose. People are deluding themselves. I guess when things get so bad, people's brains freeze.

I have read about narcissists who kill their families before they kill themselves.

Could we be that lucky? Just the adults, please.

Read the following to get the best answers to the electoral college.

"Library of Congress Congressional Research Service Memorandum Overview of Electoral College Procedure and the Role of Congress November 17, 2000" and "Taegan Goddard's Electoral Vote Map How Are Electors Chosen" A quick thing, the electors are chosen by the party which receives the most popular votes in the state. They are chosen in different ways, but the party that gets the popular vote picks them. Taegan breaks it down by states. The winner must get a majority of all electors which will happen unless some third party wins enough states to keep anyone from getting a majority. Since that won't happen, don't worry about it. Also in the Constitution, the president's term ends at noon on January 20, so if trump loses but won't leave the WH, he is no longer the president, and the Secret Service will escort him out of the building. Also, he will not have any power. He will not have the backing of Congress, The Supreme Court, the Secret Service, or the military. Some people think he will find a way to stay. He will not and there will not be a Civil War. I have in my favorite pages the two documents. Is there a way a can post them? I am computer illiterate.

Impeach now. n/t

She won't be running for president,

not yet.

No, she is not mentally ill.

I don't know anything about psychiatry, but I think that people are trying to figure out what is happening. This pandemic is too big a thing for them to wrap their heads around. It's almost like a child who receives a gift they want but is too young to understand what to do with it. They are lost and acting out. Without guidance from the government, this will continue to get worse. I have noticed that my posts are getting more and more (sorry, I can't think of the right words) picture me sitting in front of my compute with my right arm swinging up and back trying to find the right words.

But they are christians. n/t

She's brilliant and knows Biden better than any one else. n/t

I am not a scientist. All my science courses in college were for the non-science majors.

I have been reading about Covid-19 and what real scientists have been saying. I believe we have reached the tipping point. I have been posting that by the end of this year we will have 1,390,000 deaths from Covid-19 and flu. You have to add the flu because with both of them we will run out of ventilators. I am seriously thinking that my count may be overly optimistic. I sincerely hope I am wrong. It seems like every day the more I read about what people are doing the less I believe the majority of people will do what needs to be done. As I have written before, the quotes that more than one person has said, One death is a tragedy, one million deaths is a statistic. Too many people are now not reacting to death counts.
