Jan-Feb temperatures regularly hit -40 ACTUAL temps. Windchill is for wimps. This area has hit -100 windchills.
But in the past 20 years, not even close. We are warming at a record pace.
Will palm trees start sprouting in northern Minny?

I currently live in Duluth, Mn. We have been snow free all winter and have experienced the mildest winter in recorded history.

A woman's right to choose or use birth control.

Transgender - They seem to have an exceptional amount of hate for TG people.
Veiled racial bigotry.
They hate unions and worker rights.
They hate minimum wages and other worker benefit protections.
They hate affordable healthcare and Obamacare or any attempt to make HC affordable.
They champion bankers, big pharma, MIC, useless border walls, keeping the States white, straight, male dominated and unlimited POLICE POWER.
Is it time to call on Youtube and other similar SM platforms to better police their sites and start banning the channels that preach today's cover word for bigotry?

Why does Trump continue to act like a guilty man?
Trump's #1 legal defense tactic is to stall court proceedings or to try to halt them from ever going to trial. Why? Because he fears a guilty outcome, decision, or verdict. He stalls both civil and criminal cases against him in almost every case or indictment brought against him.
If he were truly not-guilty, he would be exonerated with a not guilty verdict. His name cleared.
But that is never the case with Agent Orange.
He continues to choose to act like a guilty man because HE IS A GUILTY MAN.
I'd love to see Democrats run with this message. Constantly ask the question whenever they appear on news programs or at campaign events while speaking. I'd love to hear President Biden talk about it whenever he speaks.Get it in the minds of voters..

Almost every scientist agrees- global warming is increasing storm severity, severe storm frequency/occurrence, record heat, flooding, blizzards.
Tornado ally is covered with small towns like pepper scattered over eggs. Spanning from eastern Colorado, to Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas etc
That area is seeing perhaps the hottest summer in recorded history.
Try that in a small town?

The GOP's Trump/Desatan problem in 2024..
I'm 52. Been around politics and elections since I was a teen. Like most here on DU, I have a good sense about which direction the political winds are blowing regarding an upcoming election. So do most DUers.
Regarding 2024..
My gut is telling me..
Trump and Desantis are the GOP front-runners. I'd bet my meager savings that one or the other will win the nom for pres in 2024, to represent the GOP as a pres candidate.
If Trump is nominated..
Swing voters largely hate him. They're sick of him. Many moderate GOP voters feel the same way. They're done with Trump. Many see him as unelectable.
If Desantis is nominated..
He will have a massive MAGA problem. Magats will not vote for anyone else other than Trump, or they'll vote 3rd party or simply write-in Trump on election day.
The GOP is as divided as ever and will struggle to win a presidential election as long as Trump is a factor in their party.
Stay confident Democrats.
I trust in Joe. He is a light in this sometimes dark world.
Joe Biden will prevail in 2024.
I hope Trump likes bologna..
