My 15 year old asked me my thoughts on Trump's COVID diagnosis
Just now before my son left for school, he came over to me and said "Mom, I know you hate Trump but you don't want him to die because he got COVID, do you?"
Now how the hell am I supposed to answer that?? I didn't want to send the message to my kid that human life doesn't matter and that you should never wish harm on anyone and I would be a horrible human being if I was fine with someone dying and on and on with those types of thoughts
So I just said "No, I don't want him to die" and I left off the part that I don't want him to die because I want him to suffer with the damage that COVID can do to you if you survive, that I want him to see Biden win, that I want him to see Republicans down the ballot losing big time, that I want to see him prosecuted and go to jail, that I want him to see his family go to jail
How horrible of a mom would he think he had if I had said all those things, so I didn't!
I'm curious....how do you suggest I should have answered his question? Have any of you been in a similar predicament?

Whichever doctor gave drumpf the positive diagnosis needs to come out and tell us when that happened! He/She should be guaranteed immunity from any repercussions for coming out! I know this is not realistic but this is what I wish for because this is what we need!!
A Question About COVID
Does anyone know...can we get COVID through contact or has that been disproven? In other words, do we still have to wipe down our canned groceries etc when we get home from the supermarket? (I've never wiped mine down because I just leave them in a room and don't touch them for 3 days). But I'm just wondering is the contact issue less important than the airborne issue or is the contact issue not an issue at all?

Relief??
After reading DU, Twitter, watching CNN, MSNBC, etc, have you been feeling a sense of relief or lack of feeling guilty for being happy about those in the Administration and Senate being affected by COVID?
I sometimes ask myself 'is it wrong to feel this way' and then I read and watch what everyone else is saying and then I answer my question with a 'Hell No!'
It just makes me feel better that others don't feel guilty or bad about feeling the same way I do!!
Thanks, guys, for your part making me feel guilt-free!!

I just thought of something.....when Trump said the men in the military couldn't help but hug and kiss Hope Hicks whenever they see her, I bet that's Trump's projection coming through again....it's probably Trump who's been hugging and kissing Hope!
