Is Housing In A Bubble?

I just saw the price of a new listing in my neighborhood. Housing prices are skyrocketing.
But this article suggests there is a genuine housing shortage. A two month supply of available houses, instead of the usual six months. And lending standards are staying firm. It's a little different from last time.

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John

In 1975 I was sitting in my college dorm room and a hall mate was going through my record collection. He pulled out an album and said disdainfully: You have an Elton John album?
I said: People don't like him because he's popular. But I think he's very talented.
A few days later the kid came back and asked: Can I borrow that Elton John album?

New York City's non mandate for Covid vaccines.

I've mentioned it on a few other threads. NYC had a truly elegant solution to the Covid. Not a mandate, but if you can't show a card you get mandatory masks and weekly testing. Basically we will try to turn your life into shit. Someone said that France makes you pay for that kind of testing.
Of course the city unions are making noises. NYC unions are legendary. I remember the last time there was a municipal strike a union leader went to jail, not over employee issues, but to defend the rights of the unborn, who will one day inherit these jobs with incredible benefits. Now that is a tough bargaining position!
