AZLD4Candidate's JournalMy wife's everything has been submitted to the NVC for her immigrant visa and green card
I am a little confused and maybe those with more experience or knowledge can help.
There is a massive backlog at the USCIS for visas and applications. This backlog is supposed to last until, minimum, March 2022.
I submitted my wife's everything in early April. Late May, she was told she was processing. A week later, she was approved.
I was then told it would take 45 days for me to get the I-797 approval form. I received this from USCIS in three days.
I was then told by USCIS that it would take up to two months to get notification from the NVC of her case and invoice number. It took two days.
So, things that were supposed to take a minimum of 90 days took seven.
We will be doing her DS-260 at the NVC now.
My uncle contacted Mark Warner (because my uncle is in Virginia) and I contacted Mark Kelly (because I am in Arizona). Do you think their constituent service caseworkers might have exercised me authority and pulled a few strings, considering this is the spouse of an American citizen and, as I said many times, the US Government should not be in the business of separating Americans from their families.
Just curious. I will update as things progress. I hope she files through the issuance of visa number processes. According to the NVC website, we are pretty much step ten out of twelve step process.
Step 10, 11, and 12 I have little to do with because it's all on her.
Step 11: Go to Guangzhou and have the interview. Show the consular officer all original documents to prove the marriage is legit and that she will come and stay (so the bar is lower than an NIV, since non-immigrant visa, the burden of proof is that the applicant has to prove they will leave. Immigrant visas need to prove they will stay. What I told her was say "we could have done this immediately after we got married in 2014. But we waited seven years into the marriage to do this, and if it weren't for COVID19, we wouldn't do it anyway."
Step 12: Get her passport back from Guangzhou, pay the last USCIS fee (the actual Green Card fee), get her Thai visa, get mine (if Americans aren't still visa free travel), go to Phuket, then come back together. Get though CBP (who I hate with the fire of ten thousand suns), get stamped into the country, wait up to sixty days, then celebrate when her Green Card is in her wallet.

I am usually a healer or a tank. First complaint I get, I normally say "well, you seem like you can do a better job than me." then I break off the group and walk away, usually when they are in intense battle.
This man taught me to do that:
Mike Huckabee tweets about filling out dead relatives' absentee ballots, and key Federal Election Co
A tweet that he fired off over the weekend assuming its one of his trademark knee-slappers certainly wont cost him that Fast Company crown:
Joking about committing voter fraud just days ahead of one of the most contentious elections of all time? The reaction from his followers ranged from cringe to anger across social media:

From Minnesota State university. 4th degree drug possession gets more time than Chauvin
https://www.mnsu.edu/druginfo/penalties.htmlYeah, 12.5 years for murder is fair. 4th degree drug possession can have a maximum of 15 years.
Chavin gets 22.5 years. Look at all these murderers sentenced to a lot longer
What is the difference? This time, it's a police officer getting convicted.
Click to video and look at the "related videos" as well.
My wife's green card is now in the Dept. of State hands
Step two: USCIS approval - done 06/09/21
Step three: Sent to the NVC - done 06/13/21
Step four: DS260 form - done 06/15/21
Step five: Pay for Visa
Step six: Assign a visa number
Step seven: Get the physical in Shanghai
Step eight: Go to the interview in Guangzhou
Step nine: Issued visa and visa packet
Step ten: Go to Phuket, spend a week together for the first time since August of 2020, then come back together to make sure the CBP doesn't deny her entry at second time.
It's almost done. I still say our immigration system is broken.
What is your opinion of reddit as a message board?
I've seen a lot of gadflies and "if you don't agree with me 100%, you're the enemy types." It doesn't seem well moderated as well.
I just started posting there on my personal email and account and it has a very nasty, Free Republic bent to the responses, even if what is posted is logical and well thought out.

Ten times the population in 100 years using the same amount of water. Why dont the Republicans in the Arizona Legislature see this and recognize that water is about the most precious finite resource in the southwest? Why doesnt Gov. Doug Ducey care?
This is what happens when you have unsustainable growth lead by Realtor and Construction Industries that manipulate their data to prove the very low bar that all their new developments will have 100 years of water.
Right now, Lake Mead, according to KOLDs broadcast the week of 06/07/21 in Tucson, is at 37%. Passing it as I drove back from Las Vegas, I saw how low it is.
This urban sprawl, combined with climate change and a super drought, have given us a major water crisis.
Working with the other states and federal government to develop pipelines from areas with more water into Arizona and the Southwest would solve our problems. Developing a new Colorado Protocol and convincing California to go the desalinization route would help as well.
Joel John wants to make life easier for agriculture only because he is involved in agriculture personally. Without sustainable water, agriculture dies, as does the future of Arizona. What is he doing? Nothing, because he doesnt know what to do, nor does he seem to care.
Its time to replace one-trick pony Joel John in LD4 with a House Representative ready to tackle Arizonas water crisis with proposed legislation his first week in office. LD4 and Arizona deserve Aram Katz in the Arizona House.
