I see all these nuts are going to duck duck- How Google works

I sold enterprise search andunderstand the algorithms. The way google works is the most popular results( in hits or times that result was viewed) comes up first. It is not based on metadata. We actually tried to sell our technology to Google in 2007 and ironically 5 years later Google used us for their litigation. They said to us metadata shmetdata. There was a google box they sold for a short time to corporations. It failed miserably because the results were based on views and not relevancy.

People do pay to get their site on top on Google.. One hint that you should know about Google. The more you define what you want to see in your results in the search box the better it works. You might have to put in a sentence. Also, some of your best info is on page 3 and 4 of the results.

Medicare for all

If we wanted to end healthcare as we know it all we have to do is outlaw employer based healthcare. As some one who purchased insurance since 2001 I know how poorly the person who has to buy insurance on their own is treated. The current system would be changed one year after people had to buy their own insurance.

Saudi's and Trump golf going down

It looks like the Saudi golf money grab is going down. Trump was going top host a couple of tournaments but it looks like it is crashing with DJ staying in the PGA. I don't love the PGA but I sure like them more that the Saudi's and Trump.

Sinister Minister

two stones at once- Neil Young

I hope Neil brings down Spotify. They abuse the artist more than any other streaming service. They pay the least by far. Secondly, exposing Joe Rogan is great. I want them to keep Rogan on but with this exposure I am hoping no one will get near him now as he is toxic and his show collapses because he can't attract any guests.

Accidental Bill Belichick Text Messages At Center Of Brian Flores Racial Discrimination Lawsuit Agai

Source: Boston CBS local

BOSTON (CBS) — Bill Belichick texted the wrong Brian to congratulate him for getting the Giants’ head coaching a job, according to a lawsuit filed by former Dolphins head coach and former Patriots assistant coach Brian Flores.

The lawsuit showed text messages of Belichick sending congratulations to Flores for landing the Giants job on Jan. 24. That text was sent two days prior to Flores actually interviewing for the job.

After Flores initially appeared confused by the text message, he asked Belichick, “Coach, are you talking to Brian Flores or Brian Daboll. Just making sure.”

Belichick replied: “Sorry – I f—ed this up. I double checked & I misread the text. I think they are naming Daboll. I’m sorry about that. BB”

The lawsuit alleges that Flores was then “forced to sit throug a dinner with Joe Schoen, the Giant’s [sic] new General Manager, knowing that the Giants had already selected Mr. Daboll. Much worse, on Thursday, January 27, 2022, Mr. Flores had to give an extensive interview for a job that he already knew he would not get — an interview that was held for no reason other than for the Giants to demonstrate falsely to the League Commissioner Roger Goodell and the public at large that it was in compliance with the Rooney rule.”

So glad the NFL is being sued. Eff those assholes owners after they blackballed kapernick. Jerry Jones kneeling made me through up a little in my mouth.

Anita Hill for Supreme court justice

I'll supply the coke for the confirmation hearings and a case on the first day on the court.

Covid doesn't care if you are famous

Meat Loaf was ‘seriously ill’ with COVID days before his death: report

He replied: "Oh, I’m scared to death! You kidding me? But I'm sorry, I understood stopping life for a little while, but they cannot continue to stop life because of politics. And right now they're stopping because of politics.

The Georgia election law

In any discussion on the law one should use this argument. It is easily understandable and can be used at any time. The original absentee ballot law was passed in 2006 by the republican legislature. It was put in because they perceived it was an advantage to themselves.
Verification was through signature match. In fourteen years you never heard as single peep out of the republican legislature about a compromised process. In 2020 Democrats saw the absentee ballot as a way to make it easy to vote because of Covid. We worked very hard to use the law. If your signature didn't match the county sent out a message that you had to come in and verify your signature and this happened to my son.
We outworked them and they had a hissy fit. In retaliation they implemented "picture ID". Go through that process. It is an all day encounter to go to the DMV to get a picture ID. You will need a ride back and forth. Then once you get the ID now you have to photocopy it. That is a second trip to the copy center as most poor houses don't have a scanner/printer at home. This is a second cost. Then you have to either mail in the ballot(cost) or drive to a drop box. I used to have a drop box one mile from me. Now it is a a 10 mile drive one way. That is another trip to vote.

Now the legislature has just introduced a law to eliminate all drop boxes.

Finally, Greenbriar mall(Black area) the average time to vote is 6 hours and on the white NE part of Atlanta it is 10 minutes to vote.

This doesn't even include the politically motivated board( white) oversees Fulton County( black) election board.
