Life long leftist. Spent 20+ years working in California politics and with groups from the UFW, EartFirst!, Green Peace, etc. Ran for the California Assembly at the behest of Jerry Brown in 1992, ended up working for State Sen. Ruben Ayala. Was a cop for a few years then moved on to Firefighting and EMT work. Retired now and life the life of luxury sailing the Caribbean or spending time at home in Hawaii. Life is good.
