Largely due to the fact that Roger Stone a former Nixon dirty trickster tweeted prior to the first accusation that Franken was in trouble.

Remember what happened to Acorn or Shirley Sherrod? They were both falsely accused it turned out. Yet Acorn lost its funding and Sherrod was fired from her job.

We'll never know the truth about Franken. The point is if we keep eating our own before learning the facts who will be next?

He's out. Isn't that good enough for you or do you want to keep beating that dead horse
