Likely with the repeal of the mandate, the market places will collapse once the young healthy people no longer have to get insurance and the ACA will collapse in a matter of time.

Ryan was gearing up for "Entitlement Reform" and though McConnell will not likely want to do anything like that, this was going to be the new way to make sure that the wealthy people's money was there for them. Remember that they wanted to repeal ACA not only because it undoes President Obama's legacy, but to strip out the money from Medicaid and Medicare that helped to fund a good chunk of the ACA. They are looking to mess with Social Security too in order to access the money that is supposedly in the trust. They want every last public dollar so that they can redistribute to the wealthy.
