If I was a GOP representative in a district that the Orange One won by less than twenty points, I would be wondering if my political survival was imperiled by association. GOP politicians will turn on the Orange One if and when they conclude that it is in their political interests that they do so.

The interesting time will be between the primaries and the general election. GOP representatives will be afraid to turn on the Orange One before the primaries and afraid not to thereafter.
