might be marginally better, but I doubt it.

What we need is to do away with health insurance entirely. The health insurance model, whether private or public, puts the power in the hands of the bureaucrats while providers remain driven by the need to maximize profits.

Single provider is the only way to take the profit out of healthcare.

If it works for the VA and NHS it can work for all.

My Dad gets all of his heathcare (including dental, hearing, eye care) through the VA and his treatment is extraordinary.
