Also we have had three tax increases in Kansas since Brownback. As I remember it, the original roadmap to hell involved getting rid of the income tax and replacing it with regressive sales taxes. The Republican legislature though, mostly did not go along with sales tax increases, and Brownback never really pushed them either.
