Here's the problem: If we execute the bastard, his troubles are over. If we keep him locked up, force him to spend every day on a golf course he'll never play on, and give him newspapers detailing how his business empire is being dismantled piece-by-piece (with front page photos showing the word "Trump" being removed from things like his buildings and the Wollman Rink) he'll live in absolute mental anguish all the days of his life.

The alternative is to have a huge three-day firing squad for the entirety of his administration, and sell it on Pay per View. But a lot of y'all don't like capital punishment...and, so far as I know, the pillory, stocks, bastinado and flogging all run afoul of the Sixth Amendment.
