There is no way he is going to change. Just be yourself, if he asks. It is not your job to change him at this point. Sounds like you live in close proximity (same home?), so maybe meeting some like minded friends once or twice a week for coffee or a glass of wine or even a walk, would help. But....what do I know??? Anyway, hugs and good luck

Try to find commonality with your dad. He is 90 years old. Talk about the good old days, etc
