1. Ken Burns covered My Lai well during his show about Vietnam.

Thompson was a hero as were the others on his helicopter. Meanwhile Lt. William Calley ordered his men, along with his Captain Medina, to kill about 500 women, children and seniors after raping them. They got a slap on the wrist and even fan mail (I have a book about it). Unbelievable. The 50th anniversary was remembered at the Vietnamese church near my home about 2 months ago. Calley is still alive and lives in the Atlanta area and gives talks at the Rotary Club I read.

I wish McCain could vote from Arizona against the new CIA director.
