8. I can't get past the dichotomy of Trump voters insisting that they be respected

after electing him. Their main complaint seems to revolve around the idea that since they don't support everything that Trump says and does, then they still deserve to be regarded with appreciation and granted respect. No, it doesn't work that way.

They want to cherry pick the sugary bits and pieces off Trump's flying circus act that appeal to them, and then pretend all the moldy rotten stuff that's oozing all around him doesn't count. Well, it doesn't work that way either.

Lets, throw a couple of old maxims like, Birds of a Feather, and Trump's voters made their own bed, now they can lay in it. They don't deserve any respect for being fools and dupes, and if that stings then they need to be reminded that the rest of are stuck with the after effects of what they did in electing Trump.
