Until this country comes to terms with the 1 percent, we will be subservient to their whims and desires. It took the Swedes in the 1930's to create a national movement to get rid of them. Once they got rid of the 1 percent their economy took off and benefited virtually everyone. As of now, the 1 percent in the US control circa 33 trillion dollars. Do they invest in the country by building schools, hospitals, bridges, living wages, universal health care etc. etc? No, they just sock it away in an offshore account and let it sit. They are the true parasites of this country.
