For me, my dad was Teamster ,and we lived AF good life.
I graduated college ,at. 19 so got an early start
Went through my libertarian phase for a couple years, even though I voted for Jimmy Carter
Then i remembered those five words that is in the Constitution twice.
To Promote The General Welfare
That piece of ,parchment is about we the people. We're the government!
So, no more complaints about taxes, no annoyance about government help for people in need
.
The notion of voting for low taxes, prisons, war, and systemic unfairness became a vapor
That was in 1978
