5. I really don't know about this

But several years ago I was appointed to a State Agency Board that required State Senate approval.
It took me two days off and on to fill out the background data info. It said that I could elect to withhold any data requested, but that might result in a disqualification.
One thing that was requested were my last three years of federal and state tax returns.
