It’s actually a fairly big question. He left his fellow POWs and MIAs in Vietnam nightmares, and then curtailed people into looking for them. There were credible reports — some from North Vietnamese generals — that they were holding Americans as hostages and POWs. John McCain not only allowed that to happen, he aided and abetted it.

He voted with Trump 85% of the time, and with Dubya 99%. He has directly and indirectly caused the suffering and/or death of MILLIONS of people. That doesn’t just include foreigners. That number includes his fellow Americans: POWs, MIAs, veterans, and civilians.

Research on this started in the 1970sband has only grown. For a start, check this out. https://www.thenation.com/article/why-has-john-mccain-blocked-info-mias/

Vietnam?
POWs?
Keating 5?
Iraq war?

John McCain doesn’t deserve our sympathy. Just because he claimed he was a patriot who spent his life “serving his country” doesn’t make him one, nor does his disagreeing with President Shithead ONE TIME.

Probably not. Many moderate Republicans are not running for re-election. Very sad. Trust Buster Aug 2018 #1
