8. Lol to the list. And of course no leader's stepping out

from among the real possibilities watching from the wings yet.

We're in the middle of the 2018 midterms. Not going to happen now. Silly stuff.

AND Trump is busily self- and GOP-destructing.

AND the GOP desperately needs distraction from what it's doing itself, and we won't give it.

AND, none of our serious candidates would be so stupid as to offer him or herself up as a lone red meat target for the right wing to mass-attack and launch fake scandals for.

AND, just as big, it'd also give all the press too much time to get tired of him or her and eager to pump up newcomers later on. And with them, voters. That dynamic was a huge advantage for Sanders in 2016 -- the press always pumps up the "exciting" newcomer and trashes the one they've already written about many times before.

AND, no doubt there're more "ands."

Btw, where's the name of that Camelot WASP who got some DUers swooning some months ago? He said he'd consider running in 2020 if Oprah asked him to be her running mate. That's not a rule-out. Ooohhh, New Joe!
