8. They did use the word "lodestar" in the piece, not a very common word

It's a marine navigation term. Also says it's a "senior" official so my guess is Mattis or Kelly, both Marines.

The only thing that sucks is that the Times dropped this during the Kavanaugh hearings taking the spotlight away from showing what a real unsympathetic prick that guy is.

Either way, we pretty much have a de facto coup on our hands and I fail to see how disobeying the POTUS is any better than invoking the 25th to get his ass out of there.

And this bothered me:

Speak for yourself, a majority of us knew what he was before he got elected and decided, nah, we'll pass, but YOU and others like you voted for him.

Thanks for trying to keep him from destroying the world I guess but you and your buyer's remorse can go fuck off on the horse you rode in on.
