4. I have no doubt they are going to push this guy through.

The GOP is flimsily holding up the pretense that they aren't vicious scumbags. With the way things are the best thing we can do is drag them out into the light by challenging them. We've got to eliminate as many of the convenient halftruths and ideological lies they love to wrap themselves in. So, when we regain power they can't scurry back into them and buy themselves another chance like this again.

Like you I hope he isn't confirmed but I have no doubt they'll find some absolute piece of garbage to put on the court but I'd rather it not be this particularity piece of garbage. He looks like a weasel and I have almost no doubt he's compromised up the wazoo.
