...and they'd move on to the next name on their list. But, with Trump, it's different. Everything is about his ego, about him "kicking ass" if anyone challenges him. Trump picked Kavanaugh, people are trying to block Trump's choice, so it's vital that he win and they lose. Not only don’t I expect him to withdraw, I expect Trump will turn up the pressure on G.O.P. senators to record-setting levels to get them to confirm, no matter what happens on Monday. And they'll probably go along.
