Unfortunately, churches and schools feed right into the not wanting to think part. And while in general terms there's nothing all that wrong with the entertainment shows on TV and Cable, or with movies, far too many people cannot tell the difference between the fiction they're watching and actual fact. They think that if they see it on a screen of any kind it must be true.
The best example is "The DaVinci Code" which far too many people took as historical fact.
