As someone personally victimized by someone much like him, NO ONE except the victims of such a person would ever conceive of such a man being able to do and to have done the things he's been accused of. His banality and his family's affluence and influence, together with his collective victims' traumatic shock in the aftermath of his wretchedness that kept them silent until now, have given him over thirty+ years of cover. And now he's a lock for perhaps the single most powerful position of judicial authority in the world.
