1. Are you a mom or a dad?

I wonder if dads worry excessively about daughters. Media portrays it like that. For example, all the jokes about dads being over protective of daughters when they are dating, but they never seem to be that way with their sons. I'm a mom, but I only have sons. They are almost 16 and 9. My biggest concerns are that the almost 16 year old is actually doing his school work and I just hope he doesn't crash up my car while he practices driving. I wouldn't be any different if they were girls though, because I'm a girl. I know what it is like. I'm just a person and I can manage to take care of myself just like any other man or woman in this world. I would have been annoyed with my parents if they were overprotective of me as a child or young adult. Thank goodness they weren't like that.
