I am ready for a country in which once again I have the luxury of worrying about the emerald ash borer or the plight of honeybees. It shouldn't be too much to ask for our government to function in the best interests of the nation. It shouldn't be too much to ask for our press to report deviations from that norm, instead of being an amplifier for deviants.
