2. where did that even come from? there was no "reaching"

that's a term you use when you propose legislation you don't have enough votes for.

that's not a term normally used for elections, even if the results aren't everything you hoped they could be.

we didn't "reach", we just ran campaigns like both parties do every election.

even if they think the expectations were unrealistic, expectations aren't "reaching". expectations are just hoping.

"overreaching" means *trying* for something beyond your ability to achieve.

that term doesn't apply to us any more than it applies to all parties all elections.


hey, republicans ran candidates in 435 districts and couldn't win anything close to that! overreach!
