(779 posts)The real false flag isn't the existence of Antifa itself. It's the association of liberals and Democrats with Antifa, when there is basically no overlap. If you read their literature, you will see that they are critical of liberals, and that liberal society will allow fascist organizing that they find unacceptable. They also believe voting is useless and do not advocate for Democrats.
To answer your questions about their authenticity, this investigative reporter and newspaper interviewed some and believes they are real.

That article is linked to others about their disruption of a Stone Mountain rally. You may hit a paywall if you click too many.
I do not know if they have regular meetings, as I am not a member nor have I attempted to contact them. Most of what the Atlanta group does is mundane: doxxing racist organizers and tearing down racist flyers they find around the city. But the occasional "direct action" they engage in makes a big ruckus and is thus easier to find on Google.
The rather mundane content of much of their actions and writings also gives me a gut feeling that they are real. It is just too much slow and steady work over the years to be a false flag operation, and not be exposed by now. The Atlanta group will link to other Antifa twitter feeds in other cities, and thus I assume those other groups are real as well. Occasionally they will accuse a given feed of being false flag as well.
If you believe this group is fake, do let me know your reasons. I would feel foolish if that were the case, but I would not want to be on here pushing false info.
