Nancy has not made a meme of blaming all our problems on Millionaires and Billionaires. Demonizing honestly earned wealth is not a ticket to electoral success in the US. Hell, I guess technically the wife and I are in that category. And I guess I could buy her that coat. But of course she would kill me if she learned the cost!

But the difference is that I believe I should be paying higher taxes to support universal healthcare and other programs to support all Americans. As does Nancy and all other democrats I support. In the end it would save us all money!

If we are seen as being against traditional aspirational goals we will not win.

What we need to do is convince Americans the key to achieving these aspirational goals is ditching the fucked up trickle down ideology. Because god knows it had not worked. The key is raising poorest up to a higher level. That is what will truly lift all Americans.
