No idea why. So if Trumpy can turn anything he does as putting pain to the enemy, Democrats of any stripe, then it is yet another "win."
It is as if Trump-publicans are in a civil war against their countrymen who want any of those Democratic things like a decent job, decent pay, health care, good schools, retirement etc.

So now he has spun this as an assault against Dems and no doubt his base is cheering, even those on furlough.
