He’s a Malignant Narcissist who only does things to enrich and promote himself. Decades ago he used his version of creating chaos and enmity among others for self benefit. That’s the one thing he was successful at.

Right now he is backed into a corner of his own making and the only thing he is consumed with is to destroy his enemies any way he can. He’s having a temper tantrum to destroy everything just because he can.

Putin is just helping him be himself.
